Join us this Wednesday for Restoration & Power of Prayer – Message 016: Belt of Truth – The Truth About the Truth as we continue our journey through the Armor of God and explore one of the most powerful testimonies of Christian faith and perseverance in modern history.
This week’s message features the remarkable life of Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, founder of The Voice of the Martyrs, and his wife, Sabina. Their story is one of unwavering faith in the face of unimaginable persecution under Communist rule in Romania.
From his conversion from Judaism to Christianity, to his courageous witness before government leaders, to years of imprisonment, torture, and solitary confinement, Richard Wurmbrand never abandoned the truth he found in Jesus Christ. His testimony challenges believers to examine what truth really means when everything else is stripped away.
Central to this week’s message is Wurmbrand’s profound insight:
“God is the Truth. The Bible is the truth about the Truth. Theology is the truth about the truth about the Truth.”
Through this lens, we will explore the difference between knowing about God and truly knowing Him. The Belt of Truth is not merely a doctrine to study—it is a relationship with Jesus Christ, who declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
