Prayer Request: Healing for Our Family and Restoration with Our Grandbaby
Dear Prayer Warriors,
My heart is heavy as I write this. My wife Amber and I are deeply grieving the loss of connection with our precious grandbaby. For the first year of her life, we were blessed to be close to her. We cherished every moment and poured our love into her life.
However, circumstances have changed. Our son and daughter-in-law — under difficult and confusing influences — have now closed the door on our visits. It has been about two months since we last saw our grandbaby, and the ache is almost too much to bear.
We believe in the mighty power of Jesus Christ to heal and restore broken relationships. We know He sees our pain, hears our prayers, and loves our family more than we ever could. We are asking for your prayers to cover our family:
That God would soften hearts, especially our son and daughter-in-law’s.
That reconciliation would be made possible through love, grace, and the truth of Christ.
That our grandbaby would continue to feel the love of Jesus surrounding her.
That bitterness would not take root, and forgiveness would flourish on all sides.
That we would have strength, patience, and hope while we wait on the Lord.
We are standing firm on Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
Please pray with us. We trust that Jesus can turn this around for His glory.

Please pray for me. I have to figure out who to sell my car to. I have to get rid of all my clutter and stuff from my apartment. Pray for employment when I move back to the city. Please pray for me. Pray for my friend. His wife is expecting their next child. It didn’t work out last time. He’s praying they give birth this time. Pray for me and my love life as well.

Linda and husband were in a hit and run by Janet. Linda is in intensive care, her husband killed instantly. Janet in her 20’s is facing multiple charges. She is past grief, and she has children.

Please pray for Kody. He is in prison. For 3 yrs he has led me on to believe he loves me. I was hurt, very hurt, recently to find out he didn't mean it and was talking to someone who is married. I just am asking that God convict him. That Kody would see the importance of love and the value of people to God. I am asking that God would restore his mindset and his heart. I don't think Kody has ever had an experience with the Lord, but I am asking that today is that day. That God will speak to him and will change Kody. That God will have his way with Kody completely.
