This week in Restoration & Power of Prayer – Message 015: Belt of Truth – What is Truth?, we focus on the spiritual importance of standing firmly in God’s truth.
Ephesians 6:14 calls believers to “buckle the Belt of Truth” daily as part of the armor of God. Scripture teaches that truth is not merely a concept or philosophy—it is found in a person, Jesus Christ, who declared, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6). Our faith is anchored in a personal relationship with Him.
This message includes the powerful Parable of Nassir, a man trapped in a dark pit representing spiritual hopelessness. Friends, counselors, and religious leaders could not rescue him. Only when Nassir fully surrendered to God did he discover that Christ had been with him in the pit all along, reaching out to deliver him.
We also examine how easily believers can place trust in human understanding, intellectual study, programs, or even personal struggles instead of fully trusting Christ. True faith moves beyond “trying to believe” into knowing God without a shadow of doubt, personally, and walking in confidence through the Holy Spirit.
The Belt of Truth reminds us that transformation happens from the inside out. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God changes us from the “old man” into the “new man,” renewing our minds, hearts, and spirits.
As we continue this journey, may we keep Christ at the center of our faith, surrender fully to Him, and walk in the freedom and peace that only truth can bring.
