Pray for my son Matt who we believe is being set up to fail and go back to jail.  He has a rehab program lined up in Arizona that is in alignment with his release guidelines.  He is in WY where he does not know anyone or have any family.  He is told that it can take up to 45 days before he can go to Arizona and he should get a job and place to live.  

His probation officer is actively delaying his opportunity for rehabilitation so he will violate his probation which will land him back in jail.

We are calling the WY department of corrections to see what can be done.   We know God is working on Matt and pray that he does not become homeless and gets the rehab he needs.

Trusting our Lord for every situation in life is for the most part surrendering everything into His hands. To ask God to do it this way or that way is not trusting His way, which is not knowing how He will do it, but knowing He will do it the very best way, beyond what we can think or imagine. Otherwise, it's called scheming. That is not what any of us means to do, however, the Word says our best is like filthy rags to the Lord & thus it is not His best way - "My ways are high above your ways". Learn to trust Him to the point where you can truly say... "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him", How do you know if it's not God's will that placed Matt alone in WY to deal with him His way? We must give everything to God, then we have given Him something to work with, mostly ourselves. Let God be God & dwell in His peace. Pray His Word over the persons & every situation. Stay with it & give Him thanks for His help.  Seek God's Wisdom & ask Him if He wants you to do something, what is your part? If you don't have perfect peace, don't do it. The Lord will only woo you to do. The devil drives, pushes, & pulls you in desperation & fear. This takes time in His presence. This journey is for you also. It's an opportunity for all to run into His open arms of Love & help. Let's do it His way. Expect His goodness to be released upon His children. Wait upon the Lord, you won't be disappointed. Remember it's God's timing for all things. Don't panic. Seek Him first & all these other things will be added unto you. Pray for the Comforter to cocoon all of you in His arms of peace. He's right there waiting for you to surrender. Just do it every day. One day at a time is how it works best. Let Matt know that God is right there with Him & encourage him to reach out to Jesus as He is calling to him. These are opportunities the Lord often uses to show Himself. Change your perspective to see this. He is the Savior, Deliverer, Helper & Healer. He rescues us in every way. The Lord said, in Malachi 3:10, NIV: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test Me in this,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Will you give Him the whole tithe of yourself, your time, your Love? All that He has given to you is still His. He said “Test Me”. Give God what He has asked of you.) "So, if God said it, He will do it. He does the impossible.  He will set the captives free!  He will mend the broken-hearted. God said to “Taste and see that I AM GOOD”.  God is extending His helping hand out to Matt and the family. Don’t miss it. What God has for all of us is unlimited. Begin now to seek His face intimately.
