My husband dated a girl before me who was 100 percent convinced she was Gods will for Him and that God would show him that before we married. Needless to say, never happened. We've been married for 6 years, and I have tried to develop a friendship with her, and whenever we see this girl, she's joking with him, laughing, super fun, etc... The last time 2 weeks ago she came over, she slighted me, focusing much, if not most of her attention on him, talking to him, . .. looking at him with dancing eyes. Didn't offer to help me serve supper, or dry the dishes, which I did myself, but she helped my husband clean up our table mats. My husband didn't notice a thing. I could pass this by because I want to be friendly and nice and I don't usually mind, however at one point she made a comment about my hair , she was facing me with my husband behind her, so he couldn't see her face, she said my hair looked beautiful. Her words were nice, but her facial expression didn't match at all. It shocked me. Her facial expression looked like she didn't like me at all, like a sour look, cant explain it well.. I can't tell my husband, he won't believe me and I can't share it with anyone. Two months ago, her family was over and they were praising her, saying how wise she is, etc..., I was fine with that but felt like they were trying to bolster her ip before him, and again, I felt a bit slighted before they were saying this, because they were focused more on my husband, what he was saying, I felt not really listening to what I said, but I put it down to the fact that i was so busy serving that I didn't say too much. Then when her and her aunt came over last week, same thing with the aunt ....like dismissing me especially at the start,, when talking looking up or down or at him, not at me, and focusing on him. She also wanted her niece to marry my husband but i thought after all these years, it would be all forgotten and we could just love one another. It makes me sad and nervous, I don't trust the ex girlfriend to be able to be a friend now or on my side anymore, and she has the ability to have most people , me too, like her. No matter what wrong she's done, it just seems like people overlook it.. maybe because she's very very pretty and charming. Please pray that the Lord will help this girl move on, protect my marriage from any flirtation however innocent on either part that could be misconstrued by the other (they text each other as friends, I'm not always comfortable with whats said or what emojis are used) and that the Lord will protect me too. It just annoys me very much. Please pray. Understand that me and my husband argue at times, he calls me names, and then she shows up for two three hours acting like mrs. Perfect, perfect nails, laughing at his jokes, even when they're not that funny. I've heard him encourage her on the phone a few years ago saying she's a winner, then when we argue he calls me a loser, stupid etc.
