These come as hurtful words (mocking\, gossip\, careless judgment) and actions (rejection\, abandonment\, grief) — and often from those closest to us. Using Peter’s rebuke of Jesus (Matthew 16:22–23) as an example\, we were reminded that even our own mouths can be used as darts\, so we must guard our speech. \n\nAt the heart of our study was the question\, “What is faith?” (Hebrews 11:1). We looked at five practical ways it applies today:\n\n\nA day-to-day walk — trusting God for each day’s needs.\nBuilding “faith muscles” — growing strong through testing and surrender.\nThe wilderness period — waiting on God as He refines our character.\nMustard-seed faith — even small faith can move mountains.\n“Count it all joy” — letting trials shift us to God’s bigger perspective.\n\n\n\nWe close with a call to stand firm together as overcomers in Christ\, to restrain lawlessness and to encourage one another in true fellowship.\n\nThe key: build and maintain your shield of faith by daily surrender to Jesus\, listening for His leading\, and standing with others in faith — fighting the good fight one day at a time.\n\n\n\nIn His Peace\, \n\nRegina M.
